Demiral, Fuchs, Alderete… the Maurice Revello Tournament former players burst onto the international scene

Each international break is the opportunity for several players who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament to make their international debut. Over the last days, some of them earned their first international cap.

Merih Demiral (Turkey)

Few months after taking part in the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018, the 20-year-old defender earned his first international cap with Turkey. The Alanyaspor player came off the bench during the friendly against Ukraine.

Jeando Fuchs (Cameroon)

After representing France at the youth level notably during the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018, the Yaounde-born has switched his international allegiance to Cameroon. The Sochaux midfielder made his debut with Les Lions Indomptables against Brazil (0-1) n a friendly.

Omar Alderete (Paraguay)

Called up to the senior national team for the first time on September, the 21-year-old defender eventually made his debut on this week with the Albirroja during the friendly against South Africa (1-1).

Dylan Flores et Joseph Mora (Costa Rica)

Both seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2015, Flores and Mora made their first appearance with Los Ticos. The CSMS Iasi midfielder and the DC United defender made their Costa Rica bow against Chile (3-2).

Ali Awad Bujaloof (Qatar)

The 23-year-old midfielder played his first minutes with the Qatar senior team during the 1-0 win over Switzerland in a friendly.

Daniel Alejandro Morejon Rodriguez (Cuba)

By beating Dominican Republic (1-0), the Cubans clinched their third win in a row in the Nations League and move closer to qualification for the League A which will feature the best nations of the CONCACAF.
Aged only 19, Daniel Morejon, seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2017, has made his full international debut during this game.
