The sky is the limit for the Feyenoord ace Steven Berghuis

Crowned Dutch champions last season after an 18-year-wait, Feyenoord Rotterdam will struggle to repeat their heroics as they are currently fifth in the Eredivisie.

Despite the Feyenoord’s frustrating start to the season, Steven Berghuis is still shining. After a convincing 2016-2017 season (7 goals and 5 assists in 30 Eredivisie games), the Netherlands international (11 caps) has been in devastating form over the last months.

The 26-year-old forward, who played the Toulon Tournament 2012, has already registered 13 goals and 7 assists in 24 games in this current campaign and could realize the best season of his career. Berghuis, who emerged as one of the Eredivisie’s best players, has also distinguished himself on the European scene. He has notably scored against Shakhtar Donetsk (1-2) and delivered a delicious assist against Napoli (2-1) in the Champion’s League.

Can he reach new heights in the next months ?
