41 Maurice Revello Tournament graduates to compete in the 2024 Asian Cup of Nations

The Asian Nations Cup kicks off this Friday in Qatar. Among the competing nations, 41 players who have passed through the Maurice Revello Tournament will be taking part in this prestigious competition. Here's the full recap.

Holders of the title, Qatar are putting their title back on the line. On home soil, the Qatari team will be hoping to retain their title, five years after they won it by beating all the odds. With ten graduates of the Maurice Revello Tournament in their ranks, they will have plenty to prove.

In the stadiums where the 2022 World Cup was staged, the competition promises to be fierce as they look to unseat Qatar. Among the favourites are Japan, who boast nine players who played in the Tournament in their youth.

As outsiders, South Korea, led by Lee Kang-In from Paris Saint-Germain, and Australia, who played in the Tournament for the first time in 2023, will also be nations to watch closely. As will Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, who will have three and four players respectively who have taken part in the Maurice Revello Tournament.
