Thanks to goals in the first half from Ismael Govea and Jairo Torres, “El Tri” secured a 2-0 win over Bahrain in their Maurice Revello Tournament 2019 opener. The runners-up of the last year’s edition are joint leaders of the group as Ireland earned a 4-1 win over China earlier.
