Antonio Candreva, the Inter assist-machine

Disappointing during the last season (7th in the Serie A), Inter are in red hot-form in this current campaign.

Inter are currently second in the Italian league and remain unbeaten (11 wins, 3 draws) since the start to the season. This fantastic start can be explained, in part, by the major impact made by their striker Mauro Icardi but not only. The Nerazzurri boast also a fantastic assist provider in their ranks : Antonio Candreva.

The 30-year-old right winger is in the form of his life. The Italy international (52 caps, 7 goals) is leading the Serie A assists charts with 6 assists. Candreva has notably made the difference during the big games like against AS Roma (3-1) as well as during the derby against AC Milan (3-2).

Also, the Inter Milan midfielder distinguish himself by his ability to provide a perfect cross at any moment of the game. His assist against Hellas Verona (2-1) is a perfect example of that.

According to the the Toulon Tournament 2008 winner, Inter are back on track thanks to their team spirit. “We have a lot of fun, we are all friends, we are enthusiastic and that’s the most important. […] There is a long way to go but we want to do something big. We want that since July”, Candreva said after the win over Cagliari on the last week-end.
