Omar Abdulrahman and Al Ain reach the AFC Champions League final

Al Ain have qualified for the AFC Champions League final for the first time since 2005 after claiming a 5-3 aggregate win over El Jaish (Qatar) during the semi-finals. The Emirati side can thank Omar Abdulrahman who was impressive in the both legs.

The UAE international (54 capes, 7 goals), who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2009, played a key role in this qualification as he netted a wonderful free-kick and delivered an assist during the first leg (3-1) before scoring a crucial goal during the 2-2 draw in the second leg.

Rated as one of the best players in Asia, the 25-year-old attacking midfielder has proved again that he’s an influential player and will try to lead his team to the title against the South Korean side Jeonbuk Motors in the final (19 and 26 November).
