The Neeskens Kebano’s rise with DR Congo

Born in France, Neeskens Kebano is of Congolese origin and has opted to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo at international level. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has distinguished himself with Les Léopards over the last weeks.

The Paris Saint-Germain youth academy product has scored two goals in his three last games with DR Congo. Kebano has netted the opening goal against Central African Republic (4-1) in a AFCON 2017 qualifier on September. Then, the Fulham player has scored this week-end the equaliser during the 2-1 win over Guinea in a World Cup 2018 qualifier. Without doubt, his impact during these crucial games will allow him to cement his place in the DR Congo national team.

Kebano took part in the Toulon Tournament 2012 with France as well as in 2013 alongside future French internationals like Layvin Kurzawa, Djibril Sidibé or Paul-Georges N’tep.
