Laura Freigang enjoys great start to life at 1.FFC Frankfurt

Germany only finished third at the Sud Ladies Cup 2018 but Laura Freigang distinguished herself during this tournament as he scored two goals in three games.

Few weeks later, she has shone during the U20 World Cup. The 20-year-old midfielder netted two goals in the U20WC and helped her country to reach the quarter-finals.

After impressing on the international scene, Freigang confirmed her good form with her club. This year, the Kiel-born returned to her native country, at 1.FFC Frankfurt more precisely, after spending two years with the American side Penn State.

The aim : playing regularly in the Bundesliga. So far, Freigang is enjoying a dream debut in the German top-flight. In six games, she has already scored four goals including a hat-trick against Werder Bremen (4-3) in the Matchday 8.

Will she follow in her teammate Janina Hechler’s footsteps ? The latter, seen also during the Sud Ladies Cup 2018, has been handed this month her first ever Germany senior national team call-up.
