“It was a good game. Score a goal at the end of the game show our fighting spirit. The philosophy of the coach is to score more than the opponent. That’s why France is an offensive team. I tried to be combative and bring many to my team. The aim was to keep the ball in the Mexico’s zone.We are here to win this tournament. To do that, we have to beat Portugal.”

« Nous avions été un peu poussifs contre la Chine. On s’était dit les choses et on a fait un peu de vidéo pour montrer ce qu’l ne fallait pas faire. Les joueurs ont appliqué nos consignes. Tout le monde a répondu présent dans tous les domaines. On a vu un bon match, maitrisé du début jusqu’ à la fin. Les joueurs ont été guerriers avec une très belle deuxième mi-temps notamment. Nous avons fait les choses ensemble.
Les joueurs ont voulu cette victoire et l’ont obtenu. Mon équipe se prépare à jouer une véritable demi-finale face au Portugal qui a gagné ses deux premiers matches. On va jouer la première place contre eux. »
« We were a little bit listless against China. We tried to rectify this by talking with players and by a video work. Players apply our instructions. Everybody plays a good game. We saw a good game, controlled to the beginning until the end. My team had a fighting spirit and did a very good second half notably. We did the work together.
Players wanted the victory and they got it. My team have to play a real semi-final against Portugal which wins its two games. We will play the first place during this game.”
