Berrio fête sa première sélection avec la Colombie
La victoire de la Colombie ce vendredi face au Paraguay (1-0) pour le compte des éliminatoires de la Coupe du Monde 2018 avait une saveur particulière pour Orlando Berrio. Le joueur de 25 ans, passé par le Tournoi de Toulon en 2010, a fêté sa première sélection internationale durant cette rencontre en remplaçant Juan Cuadrado à la 82e minute.
L’attaquant de l’Atletico Nacional a ainsi été récompensé pour ses récentes performances en club : cette saison, Berrio a inscrit 16 buts en 45 rencontres toutes compétitions confondues avec le club de Medellin. Formé à l’Atletico Nacional, Berrio a notamment remporté le championnat colombien à 4 reprises ainsi qu’une Copa Libertadores avec Los Verdolagas.
