Kangin Lee, Tomas Alarcon, José Martinez… the Maurice Revello Tournament graduates burst onto the international scene

Each international break is the opportunity for several players who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament to make their international debut. Over the last days, some of them earned their first international cap.

Claudio Baeza and Tomas Alarcon (Chile)

Reinaldo Rueda, head coach of La Roja, has tested several players during the friendly played this Friday against Argentina (0-0). This game was the opportunity for two players seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament to enjoy their international bow. Nexaca midfieder Claudio Baeza has started the game before being replaced by the young Tomas Alarcon, who played the Maurice Revello Tournament in June with the Chile olympic team. Both players earned their first international cap during this game.

José Carlos Martinez (Guatemala)

CONCACAF Nations League football returned this week. Placed in the League C of the competition, Guatemala hammered Anguilla (10-0). José Carlos Martinez, who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament 2019, played a key role in this win by scoring in the first. What a debut with Los Chapines for the 21-year-old forward !
