Gilmour, Bayindir, Sulaeman... the Maurice Revello Tournament graduates burst onto the international scene

Each international break is the opportunity for several players who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament to make their international debut. Over the last days, some of them earned their first international cap.

Billy Gilmour (Scotland)

The Revelation of the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018 will not soon forget the last two weeks. Selected by Scotland to play the Euro 2020, the promising 19-year-old midfielder has lifted the Champions League trophy with Chelsea few days later. And as good news never come single handed, Gilmour made his senior international debut on Wednesday with Scotland in a friendly against Netherlands (2-2). Before taking Euro 2020 by storm ?

Altay Bayindir (Turkey)

When he took part the Maurice Revello Tournnament 2018, the Turkish keeper was discovering the Super Lïg under the Ankaragucu shirt. Since that, the 23-year-old goalkeeper has been signed by Fenerbahçe and has become a regular starter for the Istanbul giants. Enough to allow him to be called up to the Turkey national team for the Euro 2020. He has even made his international debut against Azerbaijan over the last days (2-1).

Firza Andika, Haris Nurhidayah, Muhammad MarasabessyWitan Sulaeman (Indonesia)

Shin Tae-yong, in charge of South Korea at the World Cup 2018, has been appointed recently as the Indonesia new head coach. His arrival has coincided with the rejuvenation of the national team, illustrated by the inclusion of several youngsters seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2017. Four of them (Andika, Nurhidayah, Marasabessy, Sulaeman) made their Indonesia debut over the last days during friendlies against Afghanistan and Oman. Following in the footsteps of Egy Vikri, the Lechia Gdansk forward and Revelation of the Maurice Revello Tournament 2017, who is part of the senior national team since four years.
