25 Maurice Revello Tournament graduates will compete in the 2021-2022 La Liga

As both Bundesliga and Premier League, the La Liga new campiagn has started last week. 25 players seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament will compete in the Spanish top-flight this season.

Since 2005, the Spanish league title has always been clinched by these three sides : Atletico Madrid, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. The three clubs were all on the podium last season and are logically the three favorites for the title.

Title holders Atletico Madrid are determined to keep the crown. The Colchoneros will rely on players who led them to the title last year like Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco (6 goals and 10 assists in 30 La Liga games in 2020-2021). It should also be noted that the Madrid-based club registered this summer the arrival of Marcos Paulo from Fluminense, a promising player seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament two years ago.

Atletico Madrid will face the competition of their historical rivals Real Madrid and also FC Barcelona. The Blaugrana lost their legend Leo Messi but the Catalan club strengthen their squad with the signing of the several new players including the Brazil international and Maurice Revello Tournament 2019 winner Emerson Aparecido.

Except the three giants mentioned previously, several teams are looking to battle for the European places. We think about the Sevilla FC of Alejandro Gomez, winner of the Copa America with Argentina this summer, and the Betis of Diego Lainez, who shone during the Tokyo Olympics. Not forgetting Villarreal and Etienne Capoue, winners of the Europa League on last June.

The 25 Maurice Revello Tournament graduates to compete in La Liga this season :

Atletico Madrid : Santiago Arias, Hector Herrera, Thomas Lemar, Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco, Marcos Paulo
